Project 90 by 2030 recently launched an online Household Tool to help you identify ways in which you can reduce your environmental impact and save money each month. I was pleasantly surprised to see how easy it is to reduce my carbon footprint at home by taking small and easy actions and I was amazed at how much money I can save every month. Today is the last day of water month and we’ve just completed some research on how much water goes into the food we eat and the energy we use. Did you know that a 250g steak requires 3875 litres of water!

We usually think about the carbon emissions from different energy types, but it is also important to consider the impacts of our lifestyle habits involving energy choices on fresh water resources. Any effort spent on energy use reductions and a sharpened awareness in the choices we make will impact directly on our water footprint.
